So what's the difference between V1 Fitness self-defence classes and our cardio kickboxing training sessions? A question we are often asked when people call to make enquires about our training programmes.
Although there is a natural cross-over between the two, both teach you to strike with hands, elbows, knees and feet. The methods of striking changes to suit the purpose of either a sport based training session (cardio kickboxing), or actual self-defence training, which has little to do with any form of sport based combat. When someone threatens to harm you, sporting rules do not apply.
