EVERYONE needs to monitor their daily steps count to ensure they hit at least 10,000 steps per day. Something as simple as Google Fit, or the Run Keeper App, downloaded to the smartphone you already carry with you at all times for self defence, will do a beautiful job of keeping you motivated.
We love Google Fit for it's simplicity, no fumbling with settings each time you head out the door. It automatically tracks your steps, distance and time simply by having the phone in your pocket.
For something a little more advanced, try Run Keeper. Another great App for everyday fitness tracking but with more advanced features. Both are free to download from the Android and Apple App stores.
