Your vehicle should always be prepared for self defence and survival, on every journey.
1) Always aim to have a full tank of petrol. Do not fall into the bad habit of always running on empty. Not only is it bad for your engine as it draws in the dirt on the bottom of your tank, an unexpected breakdown or becoming stranded due to bad weather, having a full tank of petrol could make all the difference to survival.
2) First aid kit. At least two or 3 packs should be placed in different places of your vehicle. One behind the passengers seat. One in the boot and one in the drivers door well. A vehicle crash or roll over may only allow access to one of your first aid packs.
3) Toe Rope. Absolute essential that can make all the difference to surviving getting your vehicle stuck. Inexpensive item that take up little space. No excuses, get one.
