We are often asked "what should I eat for breakfast before a V1 FITNESS workout?" - Our answer is - the very same healthy breakfast that you should be eating EVERYDAY.
This is our recipe:
- 30g rolled oats
- 10g chia seeds
- 10g goji berries
- sprinkled on cinnamon powder
- seeds, various, pumpkin, sesame etc
- plant milks, coconut or almond.
Some days we'll add fresh berries when available, strawberries and blueberries (frozen). But pretty much this is it, EVERYDAY. We've trained without rest for up to 16 hours straight (100 km ultra running) with the exact same breakfast. The point is, everyday should be treated as survival and preparedness for any self-defence situation. Eating right EVERYDAY with regular cardio training such as our kickboxing and self-defence classes, means you are always at your best.
